The Oculus Quest 2 is quite good for the fact Oculus have made it very easy to change both the refresh rate and the resolution used for PCVR. G.Skill Ripjaws V 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3600 CL16 Memory. But I decide to use DLSS2.0 and lower a couple of settings to run at a steady 120fps that my monitor runs at. Hell, I can run F1 2021 balls to the wall on a 3440x1440p ultra wide. I currently us an RTX 20270 Super with an i7 10700k, and I have not run into any major issues at all. Assetto Corsa runs flawlessly on those GPU's, as do a whole host of PCVR titles. Including playing Dirt Rally 2 in VR, which is known to be a difficult game to run in VR. I was playing VR originally on a GTX1080 with an i76700k quad core cpu with the Oculus Rift CV1 and Rift S, and on an MSI gaming laptop with a GTX1070 and i78750h with the same headsets. Who knows if F1 2022 under publisher EA will be decent, bad, good or awesome, we all dont know. And honsetly, I would not bother with VR gear for "story mode". I do not think that I would be willing to buy VR gear on top of that, just to "try it out". If you didnt bother with the hardware yet, it is another story: I have postponed buying both better GPU and simracing equipment, because either would be a 4 digit Euro investment, and F1 2021 was not good enough as a game to justify either. Another aspect is the hardware - if you are already using VR hardware with other games, then VR might be a change to the F1 series which you welcome / expect.
